A long time ago- March 25, 2008 to be exact – Caramel-Topped Flan, pages 395-397 was the pick from Steph of A Whisk and a Spoon. Steph was back at that time baking in Australia- she is now back in the States- but I still love looking at her blog.
This was picked just before I joined and it is great to see my list of catch ups to do decreasing.
Liam really enjoyed the unveiling. He really didn’t expect to see the caramel come out of the pan. And I had to trust my 6 year old to be gentle and not damage the flan. I think he did an awesome job.
